DESCRIPTION: ...MINOR COASTAL FLOODING THROUGH THURSDAY FOR MAUI COUNTY AND THE BIG ISLAND DURING THE AFTERNOON HIGH TIDE... .Peak monthly high tides combined with water levels that are running higher than predicted will lead to minor flooding along the shoreline and in low lying coastal areas of Maui County and the Big Island. Coastal flooding is expected during the daily peak high tide each afternoon. * WHAT...Isolated minor coastal flooding. * WHERE...Portions of Molokai, Lanai, Kahoolawe, Maui and the Big Island. * WHEN...During the peak high tide each afternoon through Thursday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of beaches that are normally dry, minor coastal erosion, and saltwater inundation.
INSTRUCTION: Avoid driving through flooded roadways. If you are forced to drive through salt water, be sure to rinse your vehicle with fresh water. Move electronics, vehicles or other valuables to higher ground. Monitor vessels to ensure mooring lines don't get too tight and watch out for overwash around boat ramps. Secure canoes or other watercraft stowed on beaches.

Fog is technically a type of stratus cloud, which lies along the
ground and obscures visibility.
It is usually created when humidity in the air condenses into tiny water droplets.
Because of this, some places are more prone to foggy weather, such as regions
close to a body of water.
Fog is similar to mist; both are the appearance of water droplets suspended in
the air, but fog is the term applied to the condition when visibility is less than 1 km.

Freezing rain is a condition where precipitation which has fallen in the form of
