DESCRIPTION: ...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Louisiana... Mississippi River At Reserve affecting St. Charles, St. John The Baptist and St. James Parishes. Mississippi River At Donaldsonville affecting Ascension Parish. Mississippi River At Baton Rouge affecting West Baton Rouge and East Baton Rouge Parishes. Mississippi River At Red River Landing affecting West Feliciana, Pointe Coupee and East Baton Rouge Parishes. For the Lower Mississippi River...including Red River Landing, Baton Rouge, Donaldsonville, Reserve, New Orleans...Major flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Mississippi River at Red River Landing. * WHEN...Until Wednesday, May 21. * IMPACTS...At 58.0 feet, Angola farmland on the left bank becomes inundated. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 PM CDT Monday the stage was 58.3 feet. - Bankfull stage is 46.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage Wednesday, May 21 and continue falling to 34.9 feet Monday, June 02. - Flood stage is 48.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Cumulus clouds are fluffy and textured with rounded tops, and
may have flat bottoms. The border of a cumulus cloud
is clearly defined, and can have the appearance of cotton or cauliflower.
Cumulus clouds form at low altitudes (rarely above 2 km) but can grow very tall,
becoming cumulus congestus and possibly the even taller cumulonimbus clouds.
When cumulus clouds become taller, they have a greater chance of producing precipitation.
