DESCRIPTION: ...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Kentucky... Green River at Paradise affecting Muhlenberg County. Green River at Calhoun affecting Webster and McLean Counties. .The Green River will continue to fall, dropping to near flood stage at Paradise early next week, and below flood stage at Calhoun on Sunday. For the Green River...including Paradise, Calhoun...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Green River at Paradise. * WHEN...Until Tuesday evening. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - There is no current observed data. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early Tuesday afternoon and continue falling to 379.7 feet Wednesday morning. - Flood stage is 380.0 feet.

INSTRUCTION: Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas.

Altostratus clouds form at mid to high-level altitudes (between 2 and 7 km) and are created by a warm, stable air mass which causes water vapor to condense as it rise through the atmosphere. Usually altostratus clouds are featureless sheets characterized by a uniform color.

In some cases, wind punching through the cloud formation may give it a waved appearance, called altostratus undulatus. Altostratus clouds are commonly seen with other cloud formations accompanying them.
