DESCRIPTION: ...The National Weather Service in Fort Worth TX has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Texas... Denton Creek Near Justin affecting Denton County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Denton Creek near Justin. * WHEN...From late tonight to Saturday morning. * IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, Minor out of bank flooding will occur to farm and ranch lands near the creek. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 4.7 feet. - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet. - Flood stage is 10.0 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage late tonight to 11.1 feet tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow evening to 4.6 feet late Sunday morning.
INSTRUCTION: Do not drive cars through flooded areas. Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks. Additional information is available at www.water.noaa.gov/wfo/FWD.

Altostratus clouds form at mid to high-level altitudes
(between 2 and 7 km) and are created by a warm, stable air mass which causes
water vapor
to condense as it rise through the atmosphere. Usually altostratus clouds are
featureless sheets characterized by a uniform color.
In some cases, wind punching through the cloud formation may give it a waved
appearance, called altostratus undulatus. Altostratus clouds
are commonly seen with other cloud formations accompanying them.
